Exactly what you expect. However, this is only during installation and has not worked yet. 1 star deduction for 2 items. First, there is a large amount of burrs that have not been removed after the surface has been processed. It's just annoying that you have to do it yourself. But the real problem is that the o-ring that came with the kit didn't fit. This may be an error in my expectations, but I believe the o-ring serves to seal the thermostat housing between the head and body. The o-ring I received was about the size of a quarter and quite thick. The one I need costs a little over half a dollar and is thinner. Now I have to order something else while my car is on bed rest until it arrives and I can continue building. It is not available at local auto parts stores. After all, either Gates or Revane was wrong. Revain said it fits my 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata and although the pump fits, it doesn't have the correct o-ring. Gates may need to install all appropriate o-rings if the same water pump kit is to be used on multiple models; they are not that expensive. Add pennies to the cost. I will agree with such a slight jump in price so as not to look for the wrong product.
