Good product includes all the necessary gaskets

Pros A good quality water pump seems to come with all the necessary gaskets 3 gaskets and an o ring. installed it about a month ago. will be updated if there is a problem

Installed on 04 1.8L Miata NB

No problems - works perfectly. You don't have to remove the thermostat housing to turn this pump on and off. DO NOT remove the case unnecessarily. If so, purchase a new body O-ring from your dealer or here at Revain. Thermostat housings are EXTREMELY brittle and if you reassemble them with anything other than a new factory o-ring in perfect condition you will crack the thermostat housing. It takes about a week for one to arrive if the dealer orders it for you and you can't get it anywhere else…

So far so good - except.

Exactly what you expect. However, this is only during installation and has not worked yet. 1 star deduction for 2 items. First, there is a large amount of burrs that have not been removed after the surface has been processed. It's just annoying that you have to do it yourself. But the real problem is that the o-ring that came with the kit didn't fit. This may be an error in my expectations, but I believe the o-ring serves to seal the thermostat housing between the head and body. The o-ring I…
