Tool works but screw and wing nut is a problem

Overall good quality except for m6 100mm stainless steel (SS) screw and stainless steel wing nut. Usually SS is great, but not necessarily the strongest in terms of tensile strength or yield point. As mentioned, the screw and wing nut caught on first use, and the screw also bent a bit. I barely got the wing nut off while worried about scratching the shock if I wasn't careful. Finding a replacement for the 100mm M6 bolt was not easy. The punches are machined with an M6 screw for precise use. Attempting to replace a smaller diameter screw may cause alignment issues. My local Ace HW has 8.8 m6 100mm bolts which are stronger than the SS and also a $6 12.9 m6 80mm chrome bolt which is even stronger. The AceHW also had 10.9m6 nuts which I bought 4 of. The 12.9 bolt with the 10.9 HW nut worked great but still got a little tight but could be used again in the future. For removing and installing the Fox Shock 1/2" bushing - trying to turn the wing nut without a tool is nearly impossible. Using M6 nuts as a socket alternative is the best way to do this. Additionally, this will Tool comes with a really nice and cool bearing washer that spins between two other washers from the kit The photos don't show this important part of a really good HW Make sure you use that bearing washer on the side you are on rotate - this should be the side The images shown may not represent the best position for this bearing washer.
