Decent block with expected functionality

I used this block in one of my project's prototypes. I went to the manufacturer's website and downloaded the manual. This particular device, ITC-106VH, is a model of ITC-106. The VH version operates on 110VAC and provides a 12V/30mA signal to drive an EXTERNAL relay. It is compatible with a range of thermocouples including the most commonly used Type K. A decent Type K is also included in the package. Press the SET button for 2 seconds to enter the menu. The user manual contains instructions on how to do this. Once understood, it is easy to use. Some useful tips: 1. Auto-Tuning: The PID controller needs to be tuned to work well in your particular system. Go to "op" and set the mode from "PID" to "At". This causes the target temperature display to flash between the target temperature and "At". This means that auto tuning is enabled. In this mode, the system temperature will fluctuate around the set temperature several times before auto-tuning is complete. My guess is that the device uses an impulse tuning method to find the P, I, and D.2 constants. Change unit of measure. The default unit is Celsius, to switch to imperial unit just go to "Unit" option.3. Switching warm/cold. Go to the appropriate menu items, set "warm” if the controller is controlling a heater, "cold” if it is a cooling device.
