. I bought these to replace the door speakers on a '89 Ford F150 that had a dead audio system. Everything I read about speaker size said 6.5 inches was the correct speaker size, but they were way too big. I made a spacer and installed them without cutting the door. After installing with a new head unit I think they sound great! I'm not a music lover and it's just an old truck that needed some tunes but I'm totally happy with how they sound. Also, these are the only speakers! (No rear speakers or subwoofers) For the price they are perfect for what I need.
