you'll find this "combination" at a very reasonable price. Setup was very easy and everything worked right away. I particularly like the two toggle buttons located about halfway down the remote control, one for the VCR and the other for the DVD. Now a word of caution: I bought this unit for our small home gym where we wanted something that could play both VHS and DVD. Watching TV there is simple, almost primitive. It doesn't even have two-channel audio inputs or an S-Video input. In the other two rooms we have switches to select the input, but this time I wanted something simpler and something that can be fully controlled via the remote (no one wants to leave their cardio machine to switch TV inputs). The Panasonic combination works very well. However, I can't comment on how the machine works with HDTVs or more complex systems. For what we wanted it was almost the perfect solution. It also takes up less space than the previous Toshiba 5-disc DVD player we had (which now seems unable to detect the presence of a DVD). the number of functions that usually require you to return to the main menu, e.g. B. Subtitles. Really very smart. All in all a good reliable performer and excellent value for money. Follow-up: Turns out we liked this car so much that we ordered a second one less than a week after receiving the first one. The real joy of a car is that it makes life so much easier. At first I scoffed at the combo idea, finding it handy but basically stupid. Wrong again! convenience wins. You'll get rid of yards of cables and, over time, hours of needless frustration. It's much easier to press the VHS or DVD button on the remote control. Thanks again Panasonic.
