Seems ok, doesn't match the bar

Would like more descriptions of the depth of the bar this works with. Unfortunately it doesn't match my molding around my door. The door is sheathed in 1/2 thick wood planks that look great but push the door in too far for this to work effectively. Otherwise it would have been placed at an angle, detracting from the overall usefulness of this lock. I need to cut off a piece of mold and I just don't want to. Luckily I have another door where this can work. In addition, it looks solid and durable. I wouldn't advise relying on the screws that came with the kit as the weakest link would be the cheap screws. Personally I would take the stronger ones, but of course your choice.
