One star overall. See below. High marks for ease of use because it is. One star for suction because it seemed to work great until it failed. The squeeze bulb broke almost immediately, resulting in a malfunction and eventually no suction. No rating for cleaning as the product ruptured after less than ten squeezes in the squeeze bulb when trying to empty a small 10 gallon aquarium. There was never a chance to complete the initial work let alone clean the device for reuse. The device was used for less than five minutes and then discarded. A waste of time and money and a particular inconvenience because I wanted to move my aquarium to a new location and couldn't afford the luxury of time.
