This is a great value muffler and if you are happy with it you get what you pay for. The packaging material is a straight wire cage. This severely limits the degree of noise attenuation. The only disappointment I found was that the muffler is spot welded. As such, it leaks exceptionally, so care must be taken when installing the muffler as exhaust gases will escape from the entire perimeter of the muffler. In my case, this melted the adjacent rubber mount, which would never have suffered with a solid muffler weld all around.
