Review on 🔧 Optimized Royal Dirt Devil Style 5 Belt - Fits 110008 Model by Erin Nichols

I bought a Dirt Devil Royal about 4 years ago. It was a great vacuum, but it had an issue where the brush wouldn't rotate. It was so bad this year that it never turned again unless the vacuum was in an upright position and you also smelled a burning belt. I watched a video on youtube on how to change my vacuum cleaner belt, I thought it was easy enough, I'll give it a try. All I had to do was undo 4 screws and the bottom cover came up, pull the brush out of the vacuum, then remove the strap. I put the old and new straps side by side for comparison, wow the old strap was really stretched! The new belt will look too small, but believe me it's ok, it's the right belt for your vacuum cleaner. Just put the belt on the motor pin first, then the brush, then pull down until the brush sits in the grooves, then screw the bottom cover back on, done! I'm planning to buy a new vacuum cleaner but now it's working again and that's all that matters.
