Review on 🎮 Enhanced Sony PS3 Slim Blu-ray DVD Drive for CECH-2001A, CECH-2001B, CECH-2101A, CECH-2101B Models (KES-450A/ KEM-450AAA Laser) by Victor Shepherd

When I first got this drive I had to remove the logic board from my old one to get it working properly. After that, the drive made a loud groaning noise when trying to read the disc, but couldn't. After disassembling it and inspecting the drive, I noticed that one of the guides that the laser deck slides on was turned the wrong way round. This caused the deck to freeze when attempting to read the disc. This was a relatively easy fix, I had to bend one of the locking tabs and then insert the bolt properly into the groove. After that, the hard drive has worked flawlessly so far. This would have been a 5 star rating but having to disassemble it several times had to give it up. Time will tell if the ride holds up, but so far so good.
