Direct replacement in my 1215 PS4 and has worked flawlessly so far. Fits well, no fit issues. No problem booting up, shutting down or staying in sleep mode. I could not detect any instability under high tension. Controllers will continue to charge in sleep mode. There is NO sticky foam on the body of the refill that was on my original PS4, but it doesn't really have to be. I'll come back to this if the PSU dies prematurely, but for now I have no complaints. $40 is a lot cheaper than a trip to a console repair shop and the lowest price I've seen for these devices.
