I already had a 3/4" waver and wanted a larger curling iron for big waves. I was so glad I found these 1.25 foot, since I didn't even know they made them bigger than 1". I tried it on my hair when it arrived and the results were exactly what I wanted. It has a digital screen to show when it's gone is on or off, and also the temperature - a very useful feature! You simply press the left or right button to scroll up or down to find your desired temperature and the digital screen will display the temperature as as you like It changes It heats up quickly I have naturally curly hair so I personally prefer to straighten my hair first before using a perm for best results I'm s Very happy with this perm and will use it often. Highly recommended!
