I purchased this system in 2020 and consider it one of the best investments I have made to save money and reduce plastic waste in my home. I use this faucet to fill our aluminum water bottles multiple times a day to fill all the dog bowls and water dispensers inside and out (I'm a professional pet sitter, I have 3 of these). We use it to fill our stovetop saucepans/pans, water our plants in them, fill our coffee pot and kettle, and we even use it to fill our two 3-gallon pitchers that are hot above ours /cold water stand. Dispenser (which eliminates our previous water delivery service). We now rarely buy/use bottled water, saving money and reducing waste. It has a built in battery alarm that notifies us when the filters need to be replaced, usually around every 6 months. Keep in mind that they don't come cheap - $75 a set - but each new set comes with a new battery. And sets are available at Revain and Walmart for the same price. Note the difference of only 7 months between the old filters and the new (bright white) filters (last photo). Every time I change them I am struck by how disgusting tap water really is. And while a lot of people complain about the threads and the way they leak or installation issues, I also noticed a SMALL bladder leak from the first cartridge when I first installed it. However, having read the clear and concise user manual cover to cover before attempting to install the system AND following the instructions during installation, I knew immediately what to do. The instructions state (several times) that you DO NOT use the tool provided to screw the cartridges into the case - only finger tight when you insert them into the case. The tool is only for opening the canister after removal and when it's time to change the filters - as a strong 'vacuum' is created - and you can't open the canister yourself by hand due to the suction/vacuum seal . Again, this is the only time you use the canister tool - to open the canister to replace the cartridge filter. So read the installation instructions and do exactly what they say and you won't have any problems. The faucet is very convenient and the system makes the water taste so much better than anything we've ever bottled, processed and filtered. Otherwise the "oil rubbed bronze" mentioned in other reviews is lighter/lighter than most faucets/hardware of the same color range. I deducted 1 star for this but overall I would give this product 4.5 stars if Revain would allow it. I chose not to paint the faucet to match and as you can see in the 3rd photo it looks great.
