Take the guesswork out and find a solution fast with this intuitive diagnostic tool. The first thing that struck me when I pulled this little guy out of the case was how much bigger the screen is than other tools I've used. Everything looks bigger and clearer on the 10-inch touchscreen. Another mechanic at the shop I work in owns a high-tech snap-on scanner. I believe that this tool will do everything it can and that it will be faster and easier to use. Plus, upgrades when needed cost a lot less: $300 vs. $1,000 (Special). I'm still a long way from mastering this tool. I seem to be finding something new that this thing will do every day or two. Unfortunately, I just don't have time to play around with it, although I would like to. There are some helpful videos from ADVANCED LEVEL AUTOMOTIVE on YouTube. There, Eric, a freelancer who makes advanced electronics for various dealerships, uses ThinkCar ThinkTool Pros in most of his videos. There doesn't seem to be much the thing can do. The tool has a handle that tucks away neatly when not in use, forms a stand for mounting on a flat surface, or can be used to hang the scanner from a handlebar. This is especially handy when reusing real-time data and connecting to the included OBD2 Bluetooth transmitter. The ThinkTool PROS+ includes far more connection cables than I will ever need. At the dealer I work for, we rarely service anything exotic. That's what most of these cables seem to be designed for. All these different cables are the reason why the case has to be so big. I don't think it would be bad to put them in a separate case and make the scanner body a bit more manageable.
