Inexpensive, smooth, does the job

This is the simplest rolling pin one could imagine, and it does the trick. I like that the diameter is uniform throughout. the center is not wider than the handles, so even rolling is easier. And, it fits in a drawer, unlike many.

Very impressive looking, but I bought as a gift so can't attest to how it cleans up.

Cons

It may not offer enough grip or control for beginners or inexperienced bakers
