I've always gravitated toward bigger, longer, heavier rolling pins. Decided to try this out instead. It's a very high quality hardwood so there's no cracking expected if I care for it properly (no putting in dishwasher and oil it occasionally). I love the size for pie crusts and biscuits!I highly recommend this rolling pin.

I love this rolling pin, and vastly prefer it over my old one with tapered ends. This one rolls out dough far more evenly and can handle larger dough jobs, and makes the process go so much faster. The wood is such a beautiful red shade, and has a nice sheen to it. It's easy to hold, has great weight to it, and it was sanded very smooth. I like this better than the original rolling pin with the handles on the side. I feel like it rolls the dough more evenly than the conventional roller. I purchased this ahead of the holidays to make my pies and I gotta say, I'm pleasantly pleased. It's easy to clean and care for. May be purchasing more of different sizes just have in my baking arsenal.

ROLLER IS VERY STRAIGHT EASY TO USE AS ADVERTISED. HELPS TO USE BUTCHER BLOCK OIL ONCE IN A WHILE. I WOULD NOT WASH IT IN HOT WATER OR DISHWASHER BUT WIPE IT CLEAN. NICE FEEL.

I used this rolling in for my first ever attempt at homemade pasta. It performed beautifully. The dough did not stick and I was able to roll out a perfect even layer of pasta dough - thin enough to see my hand through! Watching endless YouTube videos of 'Pasta Grannies' and Evan Funke helped me nail down the technique for rolling.

I have used this rolling pin several times now and I love it. I can roll a fairly large piece of pastry with little effort now. This is very smooth and easy to clean. I love it and highly recommend.

I loved this rolling pin especially since it was long and had no handles, but now it's slightly bent in the middle from using it probably twice a week for 2 months? Sucks

Haven't used it yet, as it's one of my Christmas gift to my daughter. But, I'm delighted with its appearance, and hope it works well for her!

This is the simplest rolling pin one could imagine, and it does the trick. I like that the diameter is uniform throughout. the center is not wider than the handles, so even rolling is easier. And, it fits in a drawer, unlike many.

Bought this to roll out pizza dough and pie crust, works as I expected. It works great! I like that it is all one piece. More control.

This is a great rolling pin at a really good price. It’s straight, seems durable and did a lovely job on my regular flatbread recipe.

Sometimes it is the simple things that impress the most. I had a modern rolling pin made of some sort of plastic finish that was bulky and spun independently of the handles. It never worked quite right. I never had a feel for the finer things I was trying to shape, control, and roll. I mean, it flattened things sure. But the finesse and control wasn't there. Not necessarily the size i was thinking! Which could be my own fault for not paying attention to the size specs! Other than that it's great! Mine seems to be a little hard to clean however I've only used it on fondant so far!

Best rolling pin compared to the conventional or french rolling pin I own. Makes rolling pie crust or bread dough to make my cinnamon rolls more even. Great size and the perfect length for my needs. This rolling pin is well made, the surface is smooth, mine was not crooked! Very pleased with this purchase.

As far as wood rolling pins goes, this one is good! I work as a professional baker and I have used many different rolling pins. My pin did arrive with a knick or dent in the wood but it isn’t a deep enough dent to cause any problems when rolling out dough. For the price this isn’t a bad rolling pin.

Pastry dough sticks terrible. I really like using it, just don't expect most things not to stick, constantly flouring it is must or using parchment paper.

I have a regular rolling pin, with bearings in it, and narrow handles. I really wanted one like this to do tortillas and pitas,and other bread rolling. I like that it's the same width all the way through the whole length, and it's a really pretty color.

I love it I've always wanted one without handles because they don't roll things evenly and hence this purchase. It's very hefty and easy to use and incase there's and intruder I'm grabbing this thing as my weapon of choice
