You get what you pay for. Not bad. There is another mod in my review, try this one too for maximum cooling.

cost over $40. Even though the chrome intake manifold was wrapped in bubble wrap, it looked like someone had knocked the hell out of it. I don't think there's a spot that's more than 3 inches apart without a dent, dent, or major scratch. ZERO INSTRUCTIONS. just a box with different parts scattered inside. I installed the $250 and now this $40. Do you know what the difference is? $210 and some blemishes. Installation took less than 15 minutes, DO NOT TIGHTEN THE CLIPS! (I haven't done this, but I see dozens of these here) until they won't move and stop. Installed on a 2006 Sierra HD with the infamous L33 LS6 engine. Nothing without mods. rip out the old one, throw it in a box (NEVER throw away the old one. Never.) install the new one. didn't need instructions but it's cheap but I don't think throwing a sheet of paper in the box with a description of how to install it will seriously affect your bottom line. Make-up should not be a problem for anyone, because you should wrap the tube with heat-resistant foil anyway to get an additional 5-10 degrees of cold air. (chassis tape or air intake film will do) Another trick that works really well on my trucks. The coolant pipe going to the throttle body (and back) keeps the throttle body temp higher than it should be (they did this for northern climates to reduce wing freezing). Remove both hoses from tb and connect them together. Your TB will now be 80 degrees colder. Welcome back.

Pros
  • Anodized aluminum tubing is hard wearing, wear resistant for added durability
