While I like water and sweat proof cases (keeps my phone dry), I have my doubts about the strap. One side is nylon (I prefer durability) and the other side is stretchy (which is already showing signs of stretching from flab). My index is my old Ultimate running belt from the 1990's (both sides of the belt are nylon). All in all a good strap for walking, maybe hiking if you're not worried about the bells and whistles of a strap and water bottle. As for running, if you want it to fit snugly against your body with little to no movement, this belt needs improvement.
