Good things first: It has one of, if not the strongest suction cups I've ever seen. Put it where you want in the first try, otherwise you may not be able to take it off. The magnet isn't exceptional, but it worked with every phone the record was on, so it's nothing special. Not to a disastrous extent, but I had to mount it much higher on the windshield than a similar product in my other car, which was annoying but workable. The supplied plastic sheet they give you didn't want to stick to my dash and frankly would make the problem worse if it did. Negative: The suction cup is not made of the highest quality plastic. It will last you a long time once you install it, but after 1 year mine literally melted on my windshield. The ball joint socket completely collapsed after 1 year of accidental use. I'm used to collars breaking, nothing new or extraordinary about that and I would consider them sacrificial parts anyway, but the nest itself was unexpected and came out of nowhere when it happened. Don't ask too much of it and put it where you want it the first time and it will serve, but when it fails it manages to do quite disastrously.
