Good things first: It has one of, if not the strongest suction cups I've ever seen. Put it where you want in the first try, otherwise you may not be able to take it off. The magnet isn't exceptional, but it worked with every phone the record was on, so it's nothing special. Love this brand. TechMatte's previous dash mount was very good but annoying with side grips. Now with a magnet it's that easy. I've been using it almost daily for about 2 weeks now and I really like it. It coped well with the dreadful roads of New York and Long Island. I have to say it worked as intended. but this one and everyone else, like the rubber suction, has problems with heating. If you use this. Please remember to take it off b4 by leaving it in the sun for a long time. I had it in my car and it got so hot it fell over. I was looking for a suction cup and magnetic mount for my Nexus 7 (2013) but couldn't find one strong enough (I have a 290g wifi model).
