I threw this in the washing machine as soon as I received it according to the packaging instructions and it was unraveling at the seams. With everything that was going on with Covid I didn't want to deal with a refund and figured I'd try to make it work. Big mistake. I managed to rip off a nail trying to get it on the couch, a very painful experience. The material is so rough that every little thing sticks to it. It's like an old, hard microfiber cloth. Although better absorbed than one. According to the description it is water resistant. My child had a small leak, I was right there, and before I could do anything it not only spread, it went through the material. Things stay with him, I'm glad I don't have pets. It's already peeling off. Oh, and it's pretty transparent. I could go on and on but I won't. The hassle of returning it is totally worth my time the longer I live with it. A nightmare. I used to throw a micro plush blanket over the sofa. It looked ugly but my white sofa stayed clean. Now I have a dirty couch, a sore toe and I was very uncomfortable. Don't waste money on it!
