Love it! My dog loves to get on my lap while driving and even with the cheap old car seats he had he would try to get on my lap. With that I kept him in the house for a few days so he could smell us and he could smell him and then we put him in the car and he loves it! He almost fell asleep when I picked him up and put him in! It's really comfortable and fits in the car very quickly, so I'd say it's quite portable. I also love that it has removable liners so we can always take them off and wash them! So far I like it very much. I'm glad I spent the extra money and got a quality one! Definitely recommend. He has plenty of space to lie down and a great height so he can look out the window when lying down. He weighs between 20 and 22 pounds and the car seat itself is sturdy! Doesn't vibrate or anything like that. Excellent 😊
