Don't expect software to work

I bought this to give my old (old Windows 7) computer access to the internet as it wasn't possible to run a cable through my house for a single function computer. laser engraving. The included drive gave an error several times without installing anything, stating that no driver was found on the media. I tried different methods to do this and they all gave the same result. After about 3 hours of going back and forth between computers with a flash drive in hand and randomly loading some sketchy "drivers" tools and to the point of failure, it worked. It just took a lot of complaints, pulling hair out, biting her husband, general whining, the right USB stick. perhaps? and a very non-factory driver. Now everything is complete. The ACTUAL functionality of the thing seems to work fine. It gets 3 stars because USB is supposed to be PNP friendly. it is not. If you didn't have another internet source, this would be an absolute nightmare. Would get 5 stars if the software worked. general.
