Updated 8/1/2021: I have COVID so an accurate thermometer is a daily necessity for me. This thermometer keeps giving me inaccurate readings. The first day or two I was sick I had chills, but I didn't think I had a fever because of that thermometer. Tests on the forehead or in the ear always said that I didn't have a fever. Then I broke my Welch Allyn thermometer that doctors use in the office (disposable case and all). He immediately said my temperature was over 100. Every day I take the temperature with both and this non-contact thermometer is consistently inaccurate. The thermometer has ONE job. A task! The thing doesn't cost a penny. Original review: This thermometer is awesome! It can be measured without contact on the forehead or in the ears. It has settings for all ages (infant, child, adult) and can read in F or C. I took readings simultaneously with this thermometer and another one I had and they were identical. I like that it gives readings in about a second or two and can reset quickly and take other readings immediately. My other thermometer takes a few minutes to reset between readings. It is great! I highly recommend it.
