I am very disappointed that this HD, which appears to have been made specifically for the PS4, only lasted 3 months. During my usage, the HD disconnected a few times, but I managed to turn it back on. Then yesterday it just stopped connecting all the time while I was playing the game. I haven't contacted tech support to see what kind of help they will offer, but so far this has been a negative experience for me. Save yourself the trouble and buy another external HD for PS4.
