Review on ๐Ÿ”ง CLC 1104 Construction Multi-Purpose Poly Tool Holder with Custom Leathercraft, Including Cell Phone Holder by Johnny Pigao

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Will carry a Motorola Nexus 6 with a Project Fi case that fits comfortably in a large bag

Not my first CLC product and won't be my last. Very similar to my CLC backpack/tool/laptop bag, not leather. I don't know why they have Leathercraft in their name as I've never seen a leather CLC product. However, it (and the backpack) is very similar to leather. It's quite tough and difficult to work with at first, but this bag is about 12 weeks old, the backpack is over a year old, and neither of them show even a loose stitch. Both have become more flexible over time and the tools almost seem to snap into them after a few weeks. This case in particular accompanies me everywhere and manages to eliminate the case for my leather paddle, my MagLite and the holster for my oversized (Motorola Nexus 6, with Project Fi case) cell phone. In addition, it holds a black marker, a silver marker, two ballpoint pens, and a mechanical pencil and only adds about 3 inches to my overall width. Make no mistake, it's NOT easy when there's so much in it; and it took some practice to operate the Nexus 6 with one hand, but it holds everything well enough to be an everyday driver. Considering what I just told you about what I carry with me and my toolbox/backpack; Yes, you can assume I have a very active job and I never doubted that my beloved Nexus would fall out of it. matches the red stripe in the flashlight on the Revain pic and the velcro still has a 100% patch so it's fully covered. One (very, very minor) gripe I had was that the narrow tool/pen/pencil pockets are so deep that I lost my Leatherman Wave in them the first time I put it in. Once I pulled it out, I folded the paper towel into a 1" wide strip and folded it to the diameter of my thumb (let's say 3/4") and wrapped it tightly with duct tape. Then I stuck the tape/towel cylinder on its side into the bottom of the pocket I was going to use for my tanner; causing the leather goods to protrude about 1/2 inch from the top (so I could grab them to pull them out). ", it didn't cost a star. The description specifically says "Multi-Purpose', meaning any expectation I had of a custom fit would be a bit preposterous. Also show me other ways to wear Nexus 6 with a case not that bulky if not more and i will show you a special case that does not include your pens, flashlight and multitool the price is the same as this one without hesitation the only thing i... can't tell is a key clip I only used it for about a week when I was forced to use a car that wasn't mine It worked I could operate it with one hand but I don't have it used Enough to feel the durability or longevity Definitely recommend it to someone I like who has a phablet, multitools and pens.
