There are no ready-made operating systems for personal computers. Everyone fails in one way or another. When too many viruses get into my Windows systems (and they do despite all precautions and virus checkers), I install Linux. Generally the taste of mint. I wasn't interested in saving my data, on the contrary since I gave the computer to a friend. It installed faster than the DVD. It was smooth. I checked the box to allow commercial software on my computer and when I installed it I had Firefox, LibreOffice and several other useful and common programs. I really like it and will buy another one if I need it.
