Review on 🚰 AIMADI Modern Kitchen Faucet with LED Light & Pull Down Sprayer: Stainless Steel Single Handle Faucet for Sink - Brushed Nickel Finish by Stephen Pendergrass

I am a Licensed Professional Plumber with over 25 years experience running a professional plumbing business. I have clients from all walks of life that I work with, my most recent client wanted to install a faucet like this, I quoted the price of a well known brand faucet with installation at $600, the client was very dissatisfied with this estimate, he said, that they found a faucet online for $60 and that my work shouldn't be based too much on other reviews. I laughed. The customer had no option to pay online or with an amazon account, so I was hesitant to buy this with my amazon account knowing my previous experience with cheap faucets. It arrived, the appearance of the faucet was good, but it is very poorly finished, with sharp edges, has been cut twice with drills and, being made of brass, is very light. The thread that holds it together leaves a lot to be desired. The leads go separate from the base which is not normal, when included they are usually pre fitted and when tightening the leads if no lubricant is used and great care (also had to file the burrs) the the O-ring will break and leak. I had to replace them twice during this process even after greasing which, since my truck didn't have o-rings that size, required a trip to the hardware store. 2 hours later. Back to installation, the labor time now adds up, with all that "assembly" (brands always come pre-assembled) the labor cost goes up. Also most high-quality faucets include all the installation tools, which can facilitate the installation, there is nothing inside, then it is finally located, but then the cartridge leaked, had to be disassembled because it was not installed properly in the body. All the fooling around took about 5 hours. Longest install ever and this customer is very picky and blames me for any issues I don't understand I am not the guarantor of this faucet and I have been very clear that I do not stand behind any part of this setup they have only a week left at the moment. I do not recommend this product. Otherwise, if you don't like messing around with things, spend a buck or two more.
