Very important. Thin pads = less toner consumption
PRO: HIGH QUALITY. The pads are about 1/3 thicker than normal cotton pads. That means three times as many pads and far fewer spills of expensive product on a pad to wipe your face. I love how cute it sits on my shelf after opening. My other cotton pads are just sort of packaging in a sticky plastic bag that looks nice on the open shelf. Cons: Thinness means you can't wipe to remove makeup. Anything that isn't a soft hit will cause the pad to crack/twist. But great for toner. No wonder such makeup remover wipes
