You get what you pay for. If you expect a premium finish from an extremely durable device, pay full retail price and go with a great brand. But if you're on a tight budget and want your solution to be relatively stylish, then they're perfect. Smaller size aside, after reading all these reviews I can offer some advice: *) Of course, before you start, make sure you turn off the switch and check the cables. 1) Attach the metal bracket to the box first. .2) Install the ground wire - secure it with the green screw, then screw it to the ground with the cap. 3) Place the light arm on the black circle. The light mount does NOT go through the center hole in the metal bracket, it goes through the bezel and the washer/nut pulls it to the bezel NOT the bracket. Two decorative screws attach it to the bracket. 4) Connect the black and white wires and then cover them. The cap, if tight, will support the weight of the light once you're done installing it. Then make sure you heat shrink the wires/caps for security. A hair dryer is enough. 5) Place the light block onto the two screws and secure with decorative gold nuts. Bulbs are not included but can be found at Revain from other manufacturers. Put your head on everything - don't drag things out too much, have a plan before you commit and make sure you're doing everything safely and to the best of your ability. If unsure, hire a professional or use a plugin. Some people are also talking about installing them outdoors and they are absolutely not designed for that.
