I was very disappointed with such an expensive purchase. The main reason I bought them is because I wanted something heat resistant. They weren't as heavy as I expected, I think they were well made, I didn't like that they get very dirty, even with water stains, and you can't remove them, and most importantly, you can't use a sponge on dishes do the washing up. If anyone knows, when you cook in the oven, things get splattered and baked. I'm sure I had to use them the first time to make them look 10-20 years old. They recommend using a special cleaner they have and they didn't mention that it removes build-up or water stains, but who wants that, so much for the dishwasher. One of the large lids had a very big mark or scratch, I don't know what, but I couldn't remove it. They recommend drying them after cleaning and if your dishwasher stains you will need to take them out after washing to make sure they are nice and dry. The reason I chose these expensive pots and pans is the awards they have received from American Test Kitchen. I think I'll think twice about what they say in the future. I really want to return them, they are not worth the price. They say they are for professionals, don't want to see how they look after first use. I definitely don't recommend it. Will test Calphalon, Demeyere, Mauviel or Scanpan.
