The King of the Light Stands

I recently got my hands on the Selens Heavy Duty C Stand with Boom Arm (let's just call it KingStand for convenience) and boy did it make me feel like a professional photographer. With its 10ft maximum height and 3.28ft holding arm, the KingStand was able to hold my heavy studio monolights, softboxes, and reflectors with ease. The grip heads also made it convenient for me to make quick adjustments without having to worry about my equipment falling off. What I also appreciated was the solid build of the KingStand. It was stable and sturdy, even when I extended it to its full height. No wobbling or shaking whatsoever. And when I needed to pack it up, it was easy to disassemble and store away. The only reason why I didn't give it a full 5 stars was because of the price. It's definitely an investment piece, but I do believe that it's worth it for any photographer who wants a long-lasting and reliable light stand. Overall, I highly recommend the KingStand for those who want to take their photography game to the next level.

Pros
  • This C Stand with Boom Arm is designed for various photography applications, making it a great accessory for holding studio monolights, softboxes, and reflectors
Cons
  • The heavy duty nature of this stand makes it difficult to transport, as it is quite bulky and heavy
