I received this product in exchange for a fair review. I appreciate the offer and I am happy to do so. This light is a great little light to replace an older glass dome fixture without taking on the project to install recessed LED lights. It’s bright enough for a smaller bathroom. My guess is depending on the shape, it will provide a warm and even light up to 12 square feet.The quality is okay. There is not much too it to do wrong. The white diffuser is made of polypropylene (PP). The same plastic milk containers are made of. The Bezel is stamped metal. I am not sure if that’s a good thing though. In my experience these are prone to show rust spots in humid environments. The package comes with wire nuts that are too big, and two machine screws for standard light boxes. The idea is to use the machine screws to twist the lamp on utilizing key holes. That’s not only tricky because they are hard to locate, it might also create a problem with the lightbox. In older buildings they tend to be brittle and often crack around the screw holes. I suggest using the outer keyholes and put new screws around the lightbox. Only small heads are needed. Wall anchors recommended. Creating a drill template using masking tape or paper and punch through the keyholes worked for me. I also added foam tape to the back plate to seal it off and create some pressure against the screws. I had to remove the lamp several times to get the screws to sit at the right height. I have to say I will try to avoid this kind of installment method in the future. The right way is a bracket.I am giving this product 4 stars. I minus one star for how it attaches to the ceiling. The other stars for a light that is bright and doesn’t stand out too much. I hope this helps to make a decision.
