This is a good solid product that really helps me cut the salad mixes I make. I'm trying to eat healthier and this has really helped me to make and eat my own salads. Not sure why chopped lettuce is better (personal opinion), but it just is, and I enjoy salads that make a lot more. It doesn't seem to have a problem with the veggies I throw in and the blades run smoothly along the chopping board's bowl. I have no marks or scratches from using the cutter on my bowl, which I hadn't considered before purchasing this item. Maybe I just need to work on my technique, but sometimes I don't get the best downstroke results, maybe I'm making lettuces that are too small. But that's why I'm deducting 1 star. Overall it does its job and I'm happy with my purchase. I'm a big fan of their OXO products. You may also consider reaching into an OXO Salad Dressing Bottle to make your own healthy dressing!
