Review on Hakko FX600 05 High-Temperature Soldering Iron - 500°C by Michael Patilla

This is the American version of the FX600. That doesn't make it any better than the other versions in my opinion, but it's certified to run on 120V and if you run into any problems you can call on your warranty. As for the tool itself, as everyone else has said: accurate temperature settings, heats up quickly, works great, endless quality attachments available, superb build quality. If you are looking for a quality soldering iron then you have come to the right place. Too bad it doesn't come with anything to store.
