I bought a Black and Decker BullsEye laser level when I decided to build a library with floating shelves in my basement. Before BullsEye I used a torpedo level and hanging shelves was harder than fighting a bear. I finally broke down and ordered the BullsEye and what a difference, what a difference it was. The level comes in a very nice plastic case that doubles as a case in which I keep it. The spirit level also comes with a small magnetic mount with a pin on the back for attaching the spirit level to drywall. . This little animal saved my life! the hole it leaves is very small and invisible, if you don't look for it, it bothers you, you can simply cover it with paint, no putty is needed. The spirit level is versatile, the laser can be set at the push of a button so that it shoots from both sides or from above. You can also use the auto level setting which is absolutely awesome and works great for straight lines every time. If you need to hang pictures in the stairwell in a perfect 45 degree line, no problem, you can adjust the level, attach the bracket to the wall and just rotate the level until the scale reads 45, too easy. If you just bought a house, are working on a new project, or just find yourself with a bunch of skewed photos all over your house, I highly recommend BullsEye. I use this stuff all the time!
