Not a big deal but easy

I was very sad when my previous Black & Decker laser level stopped working due to battery leakage. It looks like the model is no longer for sale so I had to choose from the currently available models. Here are the most important things to know: 1. The laser beams from either the right or left side, not both sides at once (like in my previous laser level).2. You have the option of using a laser for vertical alignment (the laser shines from above).3. There is no spike finder (which my older model

Difficult to use, doesn't "stick " to the wall, no.

I bought this to replace a lost one that was actually stuck to the wall. I found it too, BUT I didn't read carefully enough. If you want it to hang on the wall, you need to drill a hole in the wall or use the command bar. I read the instructions twice. I tried using it to make a line to hang a frame that needed two anchors in the wall. "Protractor" function is so opaque and hard to read. You can't tell for sure if something is actually on the same plane. I had to measure it three different ways

    Ideal for the homeowner

I was hoping this little device would help install six cabinets with shelves and it did. It shouldn't be considered "professional" level, but it easily and accurately provides a clean, straight line for shelving components up to two meters in length. It comes with an attachment that uses a small sharp pin to insert into the wall plate. The laser block is attached to the nozzle with a magnet. And now the most important thing - I hit mine with a tape measure, and my laser level fell on the floor…

    Best autolevel for the money

This is my autolevel for projects at work. For this money the value is very high. I wouldn't say it's the perfect level, but for a graphic artist who needs the auto level feature with one hand and the other to mark, it's perfect for getting "in the level zone". Is it ideal - no, but also the floors and walls and ceilings. If you're not spending more than $150, this is as good as it gets. I tried various other options with different prices. Nothing compares to everything it has to offer. Now I…

    Good idea, bad execution.

What a headache. So it's very convenient because you can attach it to the wall with a pin on the back. Hands-free leveling - what's not to like, right? It turns out a lot. Theoretically, you can display the laser line from above or from the side (each only individually). Again, you can *theoretically* lock the angle and then toggle the laser display depending on where you need to see the line. The problem is that the degree grid markings are REALLY small, NOT properly numbered (only every 15…

Great but wall mounting requires some work

I'm a fan of Black & Decker as their products are usually very decent but not expensive. This product almost met my expectations. He seems very strong. In other words, I think if I dropped it (I won't try), it might take it. Rubberized sides make it easier to grip. The laser beam is powerful enough to get the job done, but I wish it was a little more powerful. I just assure you it's great for any medium job. The only problem I had was the wall mount. While there are MANY methods of wall…

    The library looks great!

I bought a Black and Decker BullsEye laser level when I decided to build a library with floating shelves in my basement. Before BullsEye I used a torpedo level and hanging shelves was harder than fighting a bear. I finally broke down and ordered the BullsEye and what a difference, what a difference it was. The level comes in a very nice plastic case that doubles as a case in which I keep it. The spirit level also comes with a small magnetic mount with a pin on the back for attaching the spirit…

Not as good as the ones I had.

I'm a jack of all trades and do a lot of jobs that require a laser level. My old B&D BDL100 finally gave up the ghost after about 8 years of service. That's why I bought this model after a short search. I have to say that after a few months of use I haven't become a huge fan. This model has some good things, but they are not enough: the way it is attached to the wall is unsatisfactory. The sting is only a few millimeters long and thick. Leaves a large, visible hole in the wall. The old model…
