On the plus side, the 1.1.5 board's stepper motor drivers are quiet and plug-and-play installation. I checked the overheat protection, it works as it should on my board. It's been up for about a month now and hasn't let me down. On the negative side: Creality advertises that the bootloader is "preinstalled". This is wrong in my case. This board costs very little compared to other offerings and the pre-installed bootloader was a big selling point for me as I have a newer Ender 3 Pro which has the motherboard cover mounted under the printer and accessing the motherboard is very difficult . Board as the printer is on its side or upside down which is quite an uncomfortable position for the printer. I faced this inconvenience once before when I installed an updated 1.1.5 board. Now I have to do it again to flash the bootloader. Luckily I already have an Uno and am familiar with Arduino software and microcontrollers so that part is covered. It costs 2 stars due to the false loader claim and the need to access the bottom of the printer a second time.
