I traded it in for a more or less equal bike and got a fairly new Cannondale catalytic converter that needs special attention and repair. New cables and covers, new front caliper, correct cassette, removal of broken cable parts from derailleurs, wheel skewers, but everything else was fine. It is quite a normal amount of work for me to get a complete and fully functional modern bike. And sure enough, somewhere along the way, the previous owner tripped over something and broke the original hanger. The previous owner pulled the mismatched chassis out of his parts bucket and set it in motion, but the shifting didn't go as the designers had planned, not even close. I ordered this hanger at the beginning of my home renovation saga and after taking care of everything else the new hanger came in the mail. Easy installation with no problems and now my bike shifts really really well. Perfect fit, easy installation and now normal life is back. And aren't we all ready for a normal life? So my advice is not to mess around with any number of possible wrong approximations of hangers. Get the one that's right in every way and achieve unity with your bike. ommmmm.
