
I've had them since November 2015 and 3 of them have already cracked and splintered. One had to be thrown away because it broke in half. Do yourself a favor and buy wool drying balls. I have not noticed any benefit in reduced drying cycle time (I use 10 dryer balls per load) and zero static reduction (I have noticed the reduction in static with wool). When they break I switch to wool and never look back! EDIT TO ADD: It's November 2017 and there aren't any left. They're long gone. I've replaced all my plastic dryballs with wool balls. Wool is still strong.
