Note: This is a Bird Jones telescope, not a classic Newtonian. Basically, it must be collimated before each use. Without collimation, the image quality will certainly be unsatisfactory. Due to improper manufacturing of the end piece, the viewfinder cannot be aligned correctly. This is not a problem with the red dot finder, since I bought a better red dot finder that cannot be adjusted either. I'm not sure if this is an issue in my specific case or if it's a general design flaw. The included mount is medium strong. In addition, the telescope can only be balanced on the mount with great difficulty or hardly at all. Also, the micro-adjust knob in the mount doesn't work properly because the direction of the mount changes unevenly when the knob is toggled. I also tried astrophotography with this telescope and the result was disappointing. So far, the main disadvantages of the telescope mount. We will discuss some of its benefits below. With proper collimation, you can see a beautiful view of the moon. The telescope is also able to capture the major planets in the solar system, although their details have not been disclosed. Some deep sky objects, such as the famous Orion Nebula, can also be seen with this telescope. However, the quality of the review is discouraging. This is definitely a good telescope for hobbyists who don't want to spend a lot of time on astronomy. However, if you want to delve deeper into amateur astronomy, the full potential of such a telescope is quickly reached and there remains a desire to see more that can only be satisfied with a significantly thinner telescope.
