Review on Logitech C270: Black Webcam with 3MP Resolution and USB 2.0 by Jim Bijelic

The image quality is crisp and looks good. However, the color is terrible. I downloaded some software that allows you to tweak it a bit but it doesn't help much. If you turn off auto white balance, it's impossible to get the same color as with AWB on (which is really weird?). With the AWB on, I look grey-green and a bit dead. With the AWB off, I have a distinct color cast (blue, purple, red, etc.). The camera itself doesn't seem able to distinguish different colors effectively enough. I'm honestly stunned by all the good reviews here and wondering if I had a defective camera or if the camera just didn't suit my unusual skin tone (fair but with an intense olive undertone). I have no idea but I'm currently looking for a new webcam because it's very unflattering and there doesn't seem to be a good way to fix it.
