Review on πŸ“Ί Antennas Direct VHF Kit - Enhance Your TV Antenna with VHF Capability (Channels 7-13) - Indoor/Attic/Outdoor - Includes 3 ft. Coaxial Cable - VHF-1 by Cameron Kennedy

Good VHF antenna if you don't follow the instructions.

I recently cut my cable and live in a rural area about 35-40 miles from two city centers (and their HDTV stations). I first installed a good/cheap antenna/amplifier with a good rating (1byOne 80 mile), it turned out to be a narrow UHF only (or mostly UHF) directional antenna. It would have picked up a VHF channel if pointed at a lone station about 25 miles away, but was otherwise very ineffective on VHF. So I bought this "upgrade kit" to add VHF. On the first try I connected this VHF antenna according to the instructions, I got a couple of VHF channels but it destroyed my UHF channels. So a good antenna, not a very good combiner. To make sure it wasn't a bad cable or connection, I placed this VHF antenna after my UHF antenna's signal booster. It worked great. Despite having about 75 feet of cable and a splitter downstream, I get all the VHF channels I expected clearly and strong on both TVs, and I have all my UHF channels back. Now I have all the main networks and a few cool ones with a reboot.
