could i have a little more

I bought these on a whim, it seemed like what I was looking for but I couldn't find many reviews on this product. Well, now that I have it, I'm completely convinced! This is exactly what I was hoping for. They cover fantastically and can easily be painted over with a single coat of regular acrylic paint - even metallic paints - if required. The nibs are wider than I was hoping - even with a thin edge I can't draw a finer line than I can with a regular sharpie marker, but there are thinner nibs from this brand that I'd like to try. Outside. The paint lays down very smoothly and evenly the first time, so I don't have to try to trace my lines (which would be a disaster). the edge of the pen instead of the whole edge (which you shouldn't do anyway), the paint can "dry" at the corner and you have to press on it to get the color to work again. With normal use, such problems did not arise. It also seems to dry faster than regular acrylic paint (which dries very quickly anyway). You cannot smudge or smudge the lines you make with this pen at all as it seems to dry almost instantly. That's good, because accidentally smearing the lines isn't a problem, even if you're a clumsy draftsman like me! The color of these markers has a slight sheen compared to regular acrylic paint. So if you're using them to sketch or decorate something that's been drawn the traditional way (like me) you can see the lines from these pens are a bit glossier than the rest of the piece if you look closely. It doesn't bother me at all, but it should be noted. I also love the color choices in this pack - it was just what I needed for my current project and the colors are very similar to baseball caps. Although I now feel the need for a wider range of colors and widths for these awesome markers, I am very happy with my purchase! I can't say how well they will hold up over time. I'll be back after these pens have been in my art basket for a while to report how well they stay "fresh" from drying out or leaking. So far (a few weeks have passed) everything is fine! I also didn't use them for coating, just brushing and decorating over existing paint. I'm curious to know how well they can fill a larger space and how well they work on an unprimed surface.

Pros
  • Marker
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
