hooks can point in 2 different directions. My wire mesh is 2.5" x 4". I bought hooks to hang bikes. One picture shows the dimensions and the other shows the hooks hanging over a longer section, which is what I need to get the bikes well under the trunk. Since the hooks are for the shorter part of the net, they face the wall so I can't hang bikes. I let her hang other items at this point. The picture is deceptive.
