Review on Under sink filter Atoll A-550 STD (A-560E) 1/2" by Barbara Klin ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

Slowly choosing for more than a month, as a result, I settled on this particular model. At the suggestion of KIN3001, I additionally purchased a Pentek mineralizer and a Geyser tap (in my opinion it sounds like "version 7"). At a cost, this faucet is comparable to the regular one, so the regular one was replaced in the online store for free. An important point: for the installation of an additional mineralizer, in addition to the voiced 1) two-channel tap, 2) tubes and 3) tee, the following materials are required: 4) two brackets on which a regular post-filter is attached to the "membrane". As a result, in the upper part of the structure there will be two thin flasks - a post-filter and a mineralizer, the conclusions from which will go to two channels in the tap; 5) plastic corners - adapters that are inserted into the regular post-filter. In general, it is possible to directly connect the tubes to the mineralizer without them; 6) fixing brackets (those that are blue), which do not allow the tube attachment mechanisms to open; As a result, such a set will cost the most for the cost of the mineralizer and about 200 more for consumables. Now about the water itself: the one from the mineralizer tastes like spring water. It is pleasant to drink, there is no feeling of distillation. The water passing through the post-filter is just as pleasant to drink, but still closer in taste to boiled water (they drank only this for about 5 years). We plan to use this water for cooking. And another very important point: the system was installed by a professional plumber, using only the tapes, lubricants, etc. included in the kit. As a result - nothing flows and works perfectly (ttt).

Pros
  • cleaning technology - osmosis, compatibility with filter elements from other manufacturers (from "top" to budget), easy installation and assembly, the presence of a tank with purified water allows you to quickly collect a sufficiently large amount of water.
Cons
  • no mineralizer (problem is solved - see "comments")
