Not a bad car. For a homeowner who has children and pets, cleaning up those accidental spills and accidents would be fine. I don't want to try to clean the whole house with it, preferring to have a professional carpet cleaner do it. The suction power is low for carpets, but it seems to work well for fabric upholstery on sofas and in car interiors. It has a small cleaning solution tank which when doing carpet work in a 5 wheel RV had to be refilled 3 times to finish the carpet. So think how many times you would have to fill and unload the machine to process an entire modest house. If you want to do rugs with it I would do one wet pass and then two dry passes with it as like I said the suction is not that strong.
