I lost the charging cable for my Garmin Forerunner 35. I'm sure it now says I have a replacement, but at the moment it's nowhere to be found. I chose this cable as a replacement because I couldn't order it from Garmin.com in two days without exorbitant shipping costs, so I went with the Revain. The other cable was clearly described as a charging cable ONLY, it does not do data transfer so I decided to try this one as it also claimed data transfer. I can't guarantee this will work for everyone, but the data transfer worked for me. I haven't tried tempered glass screen protectors as it wasn't what I was looking for at all, but I'm very happy with the charging cable itself.
