It's a cast aluminum but should have held up better than it was - Design
One of the two assemblies broke on the transmission side. I can't tell if this is a production issue or mine, but the casting where the screws are is very light and the screws are very short. It's a cast aluminum, but it should have held up better than it did - a design flaw.
